With great pleasure I recommend to your attention the classical guitarist Malgorzata Lach, who has distinguished herself by virtue of her fine instrumental skills and her consistently high level of professionalism.
I have seen her great joy in the making and study of music reflected in the developing attitudes of those who have undertaken to study with her, not only in private lessons but in the theory and keyboard classroom as well.
I am very pleased to have been her teacher of classical guitar during her undergraduate years at Mount Holyoke and I have followed her graduate career at the University of Hartford, and her subsequent and distinguished arrival on the professional scene here in the Pioneer Valley, with great interest. I know she will continue to uphold the high standards she has long since established for herself and her students. My sincere admiration, and my abiding expectations, always go with her.
Very truly yours,

I have studied with Malgorzata for four years now. When I first started I was a beginner and very excited to learn guitar! The best part about studying with Malgorzata as a beginner was not only did she mirror my enthusiasm, but she did a tremendous job of breaking pieces down into components that I could understand and play with ease.
The following three years were just as great. As a busy college student, which she understood, she pushed me to do my best and suggested to practice in doable increments. It all paid off. Now I have a new found love, classical guitar. (Highly recommend her as a teacher!)

I have known Malgorzata for seven years, beginning when we were members of the local guitar society, and over time we have become good friends. It was obvious from the start that she is a star player, with clear tone and sensitive interpretation. Recently, she has taken me on as a student, and from the first lesson, I could feel improvement in my playing–and there was room for that even though I’d been playing for many years and had several teachers before her. She is skilled at picking up what can be improved. Sometimes it is a simple thing that makes a big difference; sometimes it is something more challenging that she encourages a student not to give up on–and it works! She has a strong background in music, with a Master’s degree from the Hart School. I play only classical guitar, but she can play anything that a guitar can be part of, including rock and pop music.
